There is no record of his marriage or of any descendents; however, he was administrator of the estates of his nieces Sarah Clark (1814), Catherine Clark (1816), his father Duncan Buie, Sr. (1820), and his brother-in-law Malcolm Clark (1794) all in Cumberland County, and Hugh Brown (1789) of Robeson County.
