No further information is known about his children Susanna, John Alexander, Sarah Adeline or Gilbert , Jr. Aside from Sarah's baptism date, they are not mentioned in Union Church records and probably died at young ages in Jefferson Co., MS.

Family tradition states that they died at relatively young ages and did not have families.
